I am worried if it is some kind if sti. Can this be common, or is there anything else that can explain this. Please help me
Hi there,I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
First of all do not panic. The lesion that you are describing can be due to some skin infection.
Use of Lactic acid containing vaginal wash during bath time is advisable. Please do not squeeze it or try to handle it.
Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for a broad spectrum antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Clavulinic acid, two times a day for 5 days, and for local application ointment containing antibacterial and antifungal agents.
If you are sexually active then please get proper sex counseling done about safe and protected sex activity. This will help to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDs.
I hope this helps you. Thanks. Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar
