Suggest remedy for bruised eardrum

I have a bruised ear drum from a vestibular test; my ENT specialist said that the eardrum was bruised but should be getter in a week. The vestibular test tech shoved the balloon too far into my ear and it became blocked and painful. The blocked feeling has abated but the ear is still painful. What can I do?

Hi,
It seems that there might be having infection on tympanic membrane causing bruising.
Go for one anitibiotic medicine course for 5 days.
Put antibiotic ear drops 3-4 times day.
Do not try to clean with q-tip.
Avoid water going inside ear while taking shower.
Ok and take care.
