Hello, for the last several years I have been dealing with extreme fatigue/tiredness...and recently came accross a blog saying bowel worms could be the cause..so I checked in to it...and I have every single one of the symptoms. I'm wondering how serious it is since it has gone untreated for years?

firstly fatigue and tiredness are due to anemia(decrease in hemoglobin). yes worms can cause anemia mostly hookworm for this u need to do stool culture for ova, cysts and parasites. also do the blood tests(CBC and PERIPHERAL SMEAR) to exclude other causes of anemia. if worms are confirmed and blood tests are normal then u can take albendazole tablet 400 mg once in a week for 2 weeks.
