General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to boil with puss collection inside. Purplish colour can be due to tissue necrosis. You can dress the wound with Glycerine-magsulf and Betadine (povidone iodine) ointment. If it is not bursting by itself or pain is most better to undergo incision and drainage. Antibiotic therapy also will be needed. You can approach your GP for this.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
