Suggest Remedy For Bloating And Pain In Stomach And Heavy Period

Hi, my symptoms are I feel bloated after eating small meals, my stomach feels hard, I have pains in my stomach that are stopping me from sleeping, I have heavy periods and are bleeding when it s not my period. I have just had a blood test and Pap smear and my doctor has said that my Pap smear was ok but I tested for low iron. He has recommended me for a colonoscopy and camera to go down my throat.

Hello,
Your symptoms are suggestive of APD or acid peptic disorder. The cause for this condition can be understood only after investigations like gastric endoscopy, an abdominal sonogram and colonoscopy. Your bleeding disorder may or may not be related and hormone profile may need to be done if no other cause has been found to answer the bleeding pattern. The low iron count is a result of the persistent bleeding and inability to eat and you should manage this with oral or parenteral iron supplements. Wish you speedy recovery.
