Suggest Remedy For Bloated Abdomen Post Intake Of Metrogyl And Econorm

My child 19 months.before yesterday he had been loose motion & did 5 times stool like water.doctor had prescribed econorm,metrogyl.after one day stool is completely closed but now belly is like balloon.what should I do now?econorm will be continued or metrogyl will be stopped! Pls guide me.

Well I don't think the abdominal bloating is due to metrogyl or econorm. It is due to accumulation of excess of gas that can happen due to stomach infection.

I recommend you continue the medications, give him plenty of water and fruits . This shall reduce the abdominal bloating. But if it keeps increasing even after 24 hours from now then better you consult a pediatrician and get an ultrasound abdomen pelvis scan.
