I recently got a burn from hot tea. A part of my stomach and thighs are affected, at the time of the burn a little skin came off exposing the skin underneath. I also have some blisters in some of the burnt area. I m using silverex recommended by the doctor. Should I apply the cream on the blisters and on the area where the skin has come off ?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of blisters on stomach and thighs which occur because of infection of hair follicle and bacterial infection as well. Skin has increased sensitivity of getting infected and it is due to abundance of sebaceous glands in these areas. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash these areas daily with lukewarm water and body wash containing salicylic acid twice a day. Apply topical antibacterial ointment. Maintain complete hygiene of that area. Take diet rich in multivitamins. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocycline, steroid ointment.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
