Hi I was sick last week with high fevers, congestion and sinus drip. I m feeling better now but now I have blisters on the end of my nose that ooze clear fluid and bleed. It s very hard to stop the bleeding. The skin tingles just like a cold sore does. I went to the pharmacist and he suggested using polysporin antibiotic cream and placing a bandage on it. Do you think this is impetigo or herpes simplex?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have blisters on nose could be due to allergic reaction , dirt and oil get trapped in the pores, resulting in sensitive bumps , rosacea and eczema, can also cause pimple, it could be due to systemic diseases such as Impetigo, herpes simplex. Exposure to irritating substances like soap and chemicals are other reasons. I would suggest you to stay away from allergens , take anti histamine like benadryl and keep yourself in moist environment . If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper evaluation of the condition . Doctor may prescribe decongestant , anti allergic and corticosteroid ointment .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
