Suggest Remedy For Blackness In Calves And Cyst Like Pusses On Top

My husband is 70. Over the last few years his calves have turned black and he is now getting cyst like pusses on top. His dermatologist and another told him that it was old age, not exercising enough, etc and nothing can be done. His calves will always be black because of circulation issues. He likes to wear shorts and find disgusting but very concerned that circulation might effect his heart. Their suggestion is to wear circulation socks all the time. Is there a specialist that he could consult to get a better track on this? Thank you. Marianne

After going through your query I concluded that you may be having varicose veins with ulceration. Treatment of it is elastic compression bandages. Antibiotics are needed for infection. Surgery may be needed so you should see a general surgeon as surgery for various vein is done by general surgeon . You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
