Suggest Remedy For Acne Vulgaris

im 25yrs old,female.doctor by profession,training in pediatrics..i had severe acne vulgaris..used oral vitamin A for 6 months,as prescribed by the dermatologist..now i have scars remaining..and blushed skin..during the use of vit A,i was very fresh..but now due to pigmentation and extremely oily skin..it doesnt look fresh and has become dark..

From your history and description, I would consider the possibility of post acne scars and post acne pigmentation.

But your history of blushed skin could suggest acne rosacea. Do discuss with your dermatologist regarding that possibility.

Use a gel based sunscreen every 4 hours while outdoors.

Use a face wash with 2% salicylic acid.

Consider getting salicylic acid peels done by your dermatologist.

Use a gel with 0.1% Adapelene to maintain the effect of oral retinoids even after all the lesions have cleared.
