Suggest Remedy For Abortion In 20 Weeks Pregnancy

hello Doctors I m 20 weeks pregnant now and I want to abort using cytotec pills Unfortunately abortion is not legal where I m from thus consultation with the ob is not possible. How much pills should I use and how is the dosage to have a successful abortion? Thanks for your help.

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Do not use abortion pill without guidance of gynecologist as your pregnancy is advanced so it causes more chance of failure and serious complication like excessive bleeding. Pelvic examination and USG should be done before the abortion to confirm intrauterine pregnancy. For second trimester (12-20 week) various prostaglandin used by various route like intramnionic, intramuscular, vaginally. Misoprostol 200 -400 ug used vaginally every 3 hourly under the expert supervision of gynecologist. Post abortion USG should be done.
