Suggest Remedy For Abdominal Pain From A Liver Cyst

Hello. I have just found out that I have a 10mm liver cyst. My abdomin was in a lot of pain for a few days before I did the ultrasound & found this simple cyst. Now 2 weeks on & I m still in pain but not as bad as before. My Dr thinks it might be muscular pain but I m not so sure. Is the size of this cyst large & should it be removed?

Hello

Your ultrasound findings suggests small liver(hepatic) cyst and it is not expected to cause pain.
Simple liver cysts are generally asymptomatic in nature and usually it only require follow up ultrasound.
You may need clinical evaluation.Cyst may cause pain if there is infection in cyst or rapid increase in size.

Your doctor has rightly guessed that pain may be due to musculoskeletal reason.
You may need analgesics and muscle relaxants.

Get well soon.
Take Care
