Suggest Remedy For Abdominal Pain And Excessive Belching

My husband, 77 years old, has had uncomfortable abdominal pain most of the morning with a lot of belching even though he hasn t eaten in the last 4 hrs, no nausea/vomiting, no constipation/diarrhea. Believe he s had a hiatal hernia for years with no problems previously presenting themselves. He do some out-of-the-ordinary lifting yesterday (replacing screen door). He took his usual morning Pantoprazole Sod Dr Tab 40 MG.

Dear-thanks for using our service and will help you with my medical advise.Your husband might be suffering from increased gas, which could be secondary to drinking a lot of carbonated drinks, vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower and lettuce, as some examples. He could have hiatal hernia with gastroesophageal reflux giving these symptoms too.It is advisable to use Pantoprazole ,avoid to sleep flat, elevating the thorax to avoid reflux and do not go to bed just after eating, wait at least 2 hrs.
I hope that my advise has been helpful
