Suggest Remedy For A Sticky, Dirty Green And Smelly Motions
My two year old son is having...sticky,dirty green,smelly,watery motions for the last one week.and had fever fr 2 days..his ped hs gvn bacigyl-n,z &d ds 20,racecadotril suspension and..ors to be gvn fr 3 days..fvr z not thr now but. ..its been 7 days..only frequency of motions has reduced a bit...colour...consistency evrythng is same.....his routine stool test s reports are normal..and stool culture s reports would come after two days....I am worried. ..his condition is not improving...he dz not eating solids at all...m gvng diluted milk...since he drinks milk only...kindly explain why greenish yellow stool ?? are hs medicines fine...since..he dint responded well....

It seems your kid is having viral diarrhoea. Once it starts it will take 5-7 days to completely get better. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry.
There is no need to use antibiotics unless there is blood in the motion. Antibiotics might worsen if unnecessarily used causing antibiotic associated diarrhoea.
I suggest you use zinc supplements (Z&D drops 1ml once daily for 14 days) & ORS (Each small packet mixed in 200ml of potable water and keep giving sip by sip) as hydration is very important and crucial part of treatment. If there is vomiting you can use Syrup Ondansetron (2.5ml thrice a day, half an hour before feeding).
