Suggest Remedy For A Mole On The Cheek
Hi I have had a skin coloured mole like lump on my cheek ever since I can remember. Above it there seemed to be another one form a few years ive had it now. I felt it the other day as its starting to bother me a lot more now and it felt hard and a more prominent compared to the other id always had. This was also skin coloured and quite small. I thought it might have been just a lump, I squeezed it and thick white stuff came out of it almost a constant string of it. It is now extremely sore and even more prominent and red. Was this a mole I have just squeezed? Do you think I would need to get it looked at? What do you recommend I do with it now, any treatments/ leave it? and Do you think the other would be a mole?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of mole on the cheek which seems like you have developed pustule in that area which is something you should be very careful about. I would suggest you to keep the area clean and dry as much as possible. Don't apply any kind of moisturizing creams/lotions over the affected area. Clean the area with lukewarm water twice a day and apply an antibiotic cream like mupirocin gel over the area twice daily. 2% mupirocin ointment, twice daily for a week can be applied topically for faster relief. If in-spite of the above measures, the lesion persists or continues to increase in size, then you might need a course of oral antibiotics along with pain killers.If condition keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once and go for biopsy of lesion to rule out any malignancy and start treatment after proper examination microscopic and histopathological.
