Thank you for your question on this network. Unfortunately, unless a physician who answers questions on this board just happens to be from your region of the world you'll probably be waiting a long time to get the answer you're looking for. Have you tried starting at the boy's school with speaking to the guidance counselor, principal, or school nurse? I'm sure they have many other students with similar problems and would be able to give you a referral to a doctor that another student is seeing. Another option is to simply call your local hospital in the counties you mentioned and ask for the name of a specialist who sees pediatric cases of ADHD. Usually psychiatrists or psychologists are the best specialists for that sort of thing. Finally, you can look online for ADHD support groups which ABOUND all over the United States. You will likely also find the website for the National Organization dedicated to ADHD which almost certainly has a list of specialists organized by city, state, and county that they will be happy to refer you to directly with names and telephone numbers. Good luck. BTW, just so you know....I'm a neurologist from Cleveland, Ohio. Please rate our interaction with a high number of stars if you'd be so kind. If you ever wanted to get directly in touch with me for some reason again on this network drop me a line at: www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi Cheers!
