Suggest Remedies For Uncontrolled Sneezing And Running Nose
I had sudden uncontrollable sneezing and runny nose whole night 3 days back. (I had history of sneezing and runny nose, but it resolves on its own in a day every time). I tried warm salt water gargle and vapour inhalation. Next day I got high fever and sore throat. The following day I went to doctor(by this time runny nose reduced). Doctor prescribed CEPODEM 200(daily twice for 5 days), WIKORYL(daily thrice for 3 days) and ALLEX LOGENGES(daily thrice for 5 days) and warm salt water gargle daily twice. It has been 3 days but no reduction in symtoms. I am having light fever. Sore throat increased. Now I am having pain while swallowing. I can feel inflamed bump on upper tounge. There was no cough, but now I have started coughing also though slowly.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, it appears to be the allergic rhinitis, viral infection, or eosinophelia, with a bacterial super infection. The bacteria of the throat infection may not be sensitive to the cepodem. I advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for treatment.you may need to have culture and sensitivity of the throat swab. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythromycin, phenylephrine, citrizine, and paracetamol. wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
