Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore jaws, difficulty in opening mouth and swollen cheeks could be rupturing of glands and due to TMJ dysfunctioning and increased stress.
Need not to worry. You should take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen as it will reduce inflammation and swelling along with muscle relaxant as well. You should take soft liquid diet. Apply dologel in oral cavity. Visit oral physician once and get it examined and start treatment accordingly. Go for mouth stretching exercises. You should do cold compresses or cold water rinses to reduce inflammation and swelling.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
