Suggest Remedies For Severe Pain In Buttock With A Bruise And Discoloration Post An Injury
My 77 year old husband stepped down hard from an 12 high brick planter when our old collie pulled on him this past Thursday and has had severe pain with bruising in his left buttocks... and today his entire left buttocks is black and dark blue with bruising... I can t get him to go to his doctor. He thinks it will go away by itself... And I am afraid he may have cracked a bone in his hip or pelvis when he came down so hard on his left foot. His foot and left leg do not hurt... just his left buttock.

He really needs to see a doctor since with the bruising and pain he may have a hip or pelvic fracture. Rest for two days may resolve all of this but it would be better not to risk finding out what the problem is here.
