Suggest Remedies For Severe Muscle Spasm In My Neck And Shoulder Blade

I am suffering from severe muscle spasms in my neck and shoulder blade. I took 2 aleve gel caps (NSAID) 220 mg each 12 hours ago and want to know if I can take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 7.5-325 T (Watson 3203)? and if so can I take 2 hydrocodones or do you think 1 will relieve the pain? Im not sure how strong the dose is. please advise. The muscle spasms are due to bone spurs. I have stenosis and severe arthritis in my neck and need to get an MRI to see exactly what needs to be done.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response

It looks to me that you are having symptoms of cervical spondylitis. i would suggest you to take following steps.
1.Avoid using very high pillow or a very soft mattress
2. Take tablet Pregabalin and Methylcobalamine daiy
3.Apply hot water fomentation and Diclofenec ointment at neck
4.Visit a physiotherapist and start neck muscle strengthening exercises
5.Myoril or Myospaz are muscle relaxant if pain and tightness is very severe
MRI needed if symptoms persist after these steps.
