Constipation is due to underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism). You need treatment. Hypothyroidism is due to deficiency of secretion of thyroid hormone from thyroid gland. Levothyroxine is the treatment of choice for hypothyroidism. You need to take levothyroxine for life-long. Dose of levothyroxine depends upon serum TSH level.
What you do?
First get done serum TSH and T4 level. You can visit a nearby pathological laboratory. Once you get the report you can post on this HealthCare magic portal. We will guide you about treatment after checking result of serum TSH and T4. Or you can consult any registered physician in your area
Advice
1.     Include fiber in your dietsuch as split peas, lentils, black beans, lima beans, sprouts, baked beans, raspberries, pears, apples, barley, bran flakes, and brown rice
2.     Syrup Duphalac 2 teaspoonful per oral at bed time
3.     Drink 4 – 5 liters of water daily
4.     Avoid straining while defecating
5.     Divide your meals into smaller portions and eat them frequently during the day
6.     Avoid tea and coffee
