General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is always better to take such tablets under the supervision of a psychiatrist.

Anti-anxiety and antidepressant medicines take time to start their action when their blood levels are reached.

A dose which is untitrated can cause overdosing and side effects. psychiatrist balances the doses and drugs according to symptoms and risk-benefit ratio.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
