Suggest Remedies For Pus Discharge From A Wound
Hello i have cut my hand on the sidewalk and it was a very dirty wound. A big scab grew on top of the stitches. After 10 days I took the stitches off and pus came out. The doctor just drained and told me go home and keep the scab clean. Should I get antibiotics as well?

Advice
1. Take injection Tetvac – stat intramuscular in deltoid region if not taken earlier. If you have already taken then there is no need to take it again
2. Amoxicillin 500 mg – every 8 hours per oral for 5 days
3. Wash the wound with betadine – every 8 hours
4. Apply Elovera cream locally three times daily – it will fasten healing process
