Suggest Remedies For Poor Appetite In An Infant

My 22 month baby has food aversion. She doesn t want to try anything at all . Never picks food to eat herself, we still have to purée everything and then literally force feed her every single meal. I try feeding her from my plate like grown ups eat but she shows no interest and resists me. No bottle feeds either, I just stopped nursing her a fortnight back.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query with us

I would suggest you to get a de-worming done for your baby. You may consult with your pediatrician for deworming medications and chances are that your baby will develop an appetite after that. If its because you are trying to wean your baby from breast feeding, it would be better if you could alternate nursing with other foods for a while.

I hope this helps
Thank you.
