Suggest Remedies For Pin Worm Infection

I have taken pin worm medicine from the Dr. two full prescriptions. I still have itching occasionally at night and during moderate hill climbing/walking. In the past I have tried 6 months of over the counter pin worm medicine and it would help but never solve the situation. In the beginning I tried herbal parasite cleanse but they didn t work. 2.5 years of dealing with crawlly itchy butt, loss of appetite/weight.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Pinworms infections are highly contagious. When a person scratches the affected area, the pinworm eggs transfer to the fingers. The eggs can survive for several hours on your hands. If the infected person touches bedding, clothing, toilet seats, toys, or other household objects, the eggs transfer to these objects.
Advice
1.     Albendazole 400 mg daily empty stomach in the morning for 3 days. Ask other family members to take this treatment for 3 days simultaneously
2.     Trim your finger nails and ask your family members to do this
3.     Wash your clothes and bed sheets in hot water
4.     Wash your hand with warm water and soap before eating
5.     Avoid scratching the affected area
Thanks
