Suggest Remedies For Persistent Cough

I have been sick now for 4 weeks. Sinus drainage coughing. I have had a steroid shot and antibiotics went back was given steroids and antibiotics took last one last night. I have been coughing and after a coughing spell my face is tingly. I feel drained. What causes the tingling

Abnormal sensations are usually related either to the nerve or blood supply to the particular area.
Persistent or repeated episodes of coughing can cause abnormal sensations due to changes in the blood supply. Coughing episodes cause an increase in pressure in the chest and abdomen and can also affect the blood supply to the face.

This change in blood supply can cause abnormal sensations.
This is temporary.

A decongestant/antihistamine would also help even if you do not have any nasal congestion.
These are used to treat post nasal drip or drainage. eg nasonex, nasocort, flonase, rhinocort
