Hello,

As you have injury at the shin the pain will take some time to come down. As the shin region of the leg doesn't have much muscles and mostly the fascia the pain will reduce slowly.

As inflammation in the fasica doesnt heal as fast as the muscle.

For pain you can try icing and applying crepe bandage. This should help reduce the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
