Daughter is having severe head pain and is now throwing up. She had a few alcoholic drinks and then went to sleep for 5 hours than woke up with severe head pain like she s never felt before. She took Advil than started throwing up. Had eaten sushi at a buffet one day prior.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Your daughter might be suffering from a typical episode of 'hangover'. This usually occurs when a person has consumed a lot of alcohol at one once. Kindly have her rest for a day in the bed and if the headache and vomitting increases take one tablet of naproxen and ondansetron. That should ease her problem.

To prevent another episode always eat properly before consumption of alcohol and take precautions not to binge too much at once. It is dangerous too. Hope you daughter gets well soon!
