Gastritis/acidity has become quite a common problem these days due to changes in food habits.
If I were your treating doctor, I'd advise you to avoid eating spicy food. If you eat out in restaurants, you should reduce that and start eating more at home as food in restaurants generally has lots of spices.
You should preferentially eat more of green leafy vegetables and fruits so that your daily fiber intake is good.
Eat at regular timings and drink lots of water. AA glass of
cold milk daily will also help. Also, ensure you have a good sleep daily.
If these things don't work, you might be needing medical treatment. Antacids are available which will reduce the problem of gastritis.
If you follow these things, not only your gastritis problem will reduce, but you will also gain weight.
In the process of gaining weight, ensure you don't eat junk food as that may increase your wight, but will cause more harm than good.
