Suggest Remedies For Extreme Sensitivity To Light, Sore Eyes And Hot Flashes

I had the stomach flu 2 1/2 weeks ago, then a common head cold the following week. I am experiencing serious light sensitivity. My eyes are sore, burning but mostly the sun/glare makes me feel nauseated and I get hot flashes which makes me have to lay down for a while. I ve also been having numbness/tingling in my face on the left from my cheekbone to my ear. ot

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There are 2 main reasons for sore and burning eyes:
- post-cold conjunctivitis
- spikes in blood pressure (bp) as you already mention to have hot flashes and tingling in your face.

So, better get checked by your physician, get a complete cardiac check up plus check your blood electrolytes as you might have been suffered of dehydration from fluid loss when you had diarrhea.

Wish fast recovery.
