Suggest Remedies For Dizziness And Low BP
I ve been feeling dizzy all day. When walking I feel like fainting after a few feet. Current medications are lisinopril 10mg once a day and hydroxyzine 25mg as needed for anxiety. I take my lisinopril at bedtime. For me usually is midnight. I have had 2 hydroxyzine since last night. Have not taken lisinopril yet this evening. I m thinking my blood pressure is low and will skip lisinopril tonight. Does this sound accurate? If so how can I get my BP up at home?

First monitor your blood pressure immediately since you can have dizziness even cases of accelerated hypertension.Since you have taken hydroxyine twice yesterday you can have those symptoms.If your BP is normal or more than 110/80mhg you should take your BP medication.If your BP is less than 90/60mmhg skip today's dose and home therapy like adequate fluids,fruit juices,butter milk etc can be helpful..if still BP is low and feeling more dizzy report to your doctor immediately.Avoid overdosing of your drugs.Speak to your doctor regarding tapering of your hydroxyzine drug dosage.Avoid stress and anxiety.Exercise regularly as it will release endorphins and elate your mood.Get investigations like ECG,2D ECHO,lipid profile as a part of routine screening of your heart.Consult your crdiologist for expert management.
