Hi I am a girl of 22..had an inter course wit my husband last month..I skipped my periods this moth but checked twice by prega news kit...and the result is negative...shall I go for a perfect test in lab...Ihave missed my periods only once before like this in may...

Dear madam,I understand your concern.usually you have to do the urine pregnancy test one week after missing the period.if you have done so and the test is negative then there may be some other causes for delayed period like stress,any thyroid problems or ovarian causes like polycystic ovarian disease(PCOD).dont worry these are commonly seen nowadays.but anyways you consult a gynae and take appropriate treatment.
