Suggest Remedies For Continuous Bleeding From The Wound

I injured a finger at work--drill bit to the fingernail. Cleaned wound, bandaged it, applied pressure, etc. It keeps bleeding off and on. What can I do to keep it from bleeding again? Is there a special way to apply bandage (i.e. put a popsicle stick on top of nail and then bandage it ?)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Finger tip is more likely to bleed more and this is normal. Apply pressure bandage and avoid any injury till its healing. No you can't use popsicle stick.

Regards
