Suggest Remedies For Constant Headaches, light Headedness And Pain Behind Eyes
Hi there, I have been getting headaches constantly for the last week. I wake up in the morning and feel a bit lightheaded walking to work. I seem to get a pain behind my eyes mid morning and then it goes away sometimes until the afternoon and evening when it gets sore again but spreads round the back of my head (lower back of my head not neck). Throughout my working day I am really tired and yawn a lot. I should say the day before it started I did go out for drinks. I very rarely drink but I probably drank too much that one night. However this pain isn t a one day after effect as its been constant for the last 6days.
I carefully read your questions and understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be related to a sinus infection or tension type headache.
Do you have running nose?
It is true that drinking could lead to a persistent headache. But it is necessary excluding other causes, before coming to this conclusion.
I would recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical exam, a complete blood count and a sinus X ray study. A cervical column X ray study may be necessary to exclude possible cervical spondylarthrosis, which may aggravate the situation.
If all the above tests result normal, there is nothing to worry about.
Hope you will find this answer helpful! Greetings! Dr. Aida
