Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of cold and chest congestion which is due to severe upper respiratory tract infection along with wheezing. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper checkup and may order certain tests like blood test, throat swab test and prescribe X-ray chest examination as well. Avoid giving child cold beverages. Give child proper rest. You should give child proper course of antiviral/antibacterial medication along with antiinflammatory medication.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
