Suggest Remedies For Canker Sores In The Mouth

my 26 year old daughter has severe tongue pain. a small white line at the tip. Looks like a canker sore but she has tried topical creams, ice, salt water, and nothing helps. she said it is like a knife through her tongue. if is affecting her speech and radiating toward her ears. Do you know what could be the cause. This is day three.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Your explanation does not appear.like canker sore rather it can be due to any nerve related pain or severe inflammation of the tongue is also appearing red..

So it is advisable to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated so that a clinical examination can be done to rule out the exact cause..

For now you can take painkillers like Tramadol to relieve pain and take soft diet..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
