Hi I delivered a baby in April and I am still suffering with fissures! They keep coming and going! I have used anusol hc and diltigisec ointments and sitz bath but they take at least 20-25 days if they happen and they are very painful! I try not to be constipated but once I get little constipation I start to bleed with fissures!Please help me

Hi,
You are taking proper care to prevent recurrence still more meticulous management would help.
-Continue taking sitz bath even if there is no active fissure for a few months.
-Use stool softener daily whenever & needful
-Eat plenty of fibers & drink ENT of water to ease bowel movements.
-An intestinal infection, infestation or food allergies need to be checked for & treated adequately.
-Regular exercises help.
-Avoid spicy or oily or junk food.
-Non-surgical dilatation of anus can help in long-standing cases.
