Suggest Remedies For Bee Sting

I am 24 years old, 6 days ago I got stung by a bee for the first time in my life while mowing my grass. I was wearing leggings so it was bare skin the bee stung so I'm not sure if the stinger got stuck in my skin or not but I don't think so. Anyway my question is, should I be concerned that its been 6 days and I am still having itching around the area and swelling? Thoses are my only symptoms I have encountered besides it being very painful at first.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

You have bitten by bee ..So having allergic reaction to that ....
And you had inflammation to that ....

Your pain is subsided ..So improving now...
Itching and swelling still present ...

So take levocetrizine for five days....
It will help in relieving inflammation secondary to bee sting ....

You can apply cold compress over that to reduce itching and swelling...

You will recover fully in five to six days ...

If no improvement than CBC done and look for secondary bacterial infection.....

Hope your query solved...

Take care ....
