Suggest Remedies For A Pin Line Rash Under The Eye Of A Child

my 4 yr old slowly developed a pin line rash under one eye that eventually circled the eye, looking like a black eye ring by a week. a line developed on cheek bone. cleared up and returned, more dispersed still one side, upper cheek and ocular. no fever, getting over a cold, but not bad.

Hello,

Pin line rash under the eyes can be due to some viral or bacterial infection. First wash your child & let him take a shower after applying an antibacterial soap.

You can apply topical ointments like lactocalamine or neosporin oitment. It should go away in a week.

If the rashes are resistant you should have it physically examined to rule out varicella or chicken pox, etc. Your child may need a full course of antibiotics.

In the meantime do not share the toiletries & maintain hygiene.
