Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
There are many sleeping pills like ativan, alprax, rivotril, zolpidem. All these medications are usually safe when taken in prescribed doses.
The major side effect is their habit-forming potential. When taken continuosly for more tahn 4weeks, these medicines can cause dependence.
Of these, zolpidem is a preferred choice as it has minimal habit-forming potential.
You can take tablet zolpidem 5mg or 10mg as required. It takes around half hour to make you sleep. I must tell you that it can cause slight hangover in next morning.
Donot drive or work with heavy machinery after taking this medicine.
Also visit your physician for the treatment of pain in back of your head.
Hope this info helps you.
Thanks.
