Suggest Prognosis Of Lung Cancer With Liver Metastasis, Hands Swelling And Weakness

My grandfather has a very advanced form of lung cancer that has spread to his liver. He is 90 and has been re-admitted to the hospital. How do I know if he is about to pass? His body temp has dropped to 94.5 and his hands are extremely swollen. He is incredibly weak, sleeping all the time and has barely eaten all day. It also takes a while to wake him up when he is sleeping.
