Suggest Precise Medication For A Diabetic With Sneezing, Running Nose

I am 56 years old male Diabetic(diagnosed 3 years back-controlled by OHA) suffering from severe recurrent running nose and sneezing more in morning from last 25 years which remain better till I take Levocetrizine with monteleucost.kindly let me know the precise line of management

Thank you for posting your concern here. From the history, I think you have allergic problem involving the nose and/or the sinuses or a chronic sinusitis. A deviated nasal septum and any nasal polyp need to be ruled out by an ENT surgeon. You can for the time being avoid dust and pollen, have steam inhalation twice daily and take montelukast and antihistaminics. An examination of the sinuses, blood count including eosinophil count and ESR and absolute eosinophil count are also necessary. For any further query, please wite back. Thanks and regards.
