Suggest Precautions For Amoebiasis In Children

Hi doctor my one year old daughter has amoebiasis. She is taking flazol syrup 3 ml 3 times a day and Bactrim 4ml 2 times a day is it enough for this problem. We noticed that she is having diarrehea about 14 days and from the last 4 days mucus and blood in the stool.The doctor advised us to examine the stool and found E.histolytica syst. I want to know that is this aserious problem. What precautions do we take to get rid of this..

The doctor has prescribed best medication to your daughter, additional
guidelines for better outcome
- Allow her more liquids in form of boiled water, lemon juice, coconut water.
- Check that she chews her food thoroughly.
- Maintain best hygiene practice for hand wash, nail cutting.
- Discuss need of pro biotic with your doctor.
- Add yogurt ( fresh ) in daily intake.
