Hello,

Potassium is an essential mineral for the body's growth and maintenance of normal water balance between cells and body fluids.

The daily recommended dietary intake is 4700mg.

Foods that are rich in potassium:
- 1 cup of Lima beans contains 1000mg.
-Baked potatoes contain nearly 900mg.
-1 cup of beets is approximately 15% of your daily potassium dose.
-A medium banana contains 450mg potassium.
-½ of a papaya 390mg.
-6 ounces of yogurt 260-435mg
-½ cup of cooked pinto beans 400mg or lentils 365mg
-1 cup of soy milk 300mg
-3 ounces of baked or broiled salmon 319mg
