Suggest Post Surgery Care For Heart Disorder After CABG

Hi, Good Morning!! My Grandfather is suffering from Heart Disorder according to Cardiologist his heart is functioning 15-20% what kind of care we have to take for him. He also passed through Bypass surgery 3 years back. please advise how can we improve his heart functioning. Regards, Neel Dave

Hello,
The main thing for him to do is to follow the instructions of the cardiologist. Other things that can help are eliminating salt from the diet entirely, getting some mild exercise like walking regularly, avoiding all alcohol and tobacco. There are also medications that can improve his heart function that can be prescribed by the cardiologist and he should be encouraged to take them regularly
