Yes, treatment is definitely possible for whooping cough. Whooping cough is caused by bacteria known as pertusis. Antibiotics like amoxicillin, levofloxacin and azithromycin are effective against this infection.

So consult your doctor and start any of this antibiotic. Do warm water gargles and steam inhalation 4-5 times a day. Avoid cold beverages and ice creams. You can also take pertusis vaccine as it is safe.
