General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Eosinophilia of 4-8 is near normal range.
2. You are possibly suffering from allergic asthma. Identification of allergen is important. Until then, during episodes, you will need to be on corticosteroids and bronchodilators.
3. If not sure, get an allergen test or serum IgE levels. Based on Ig E levels further cause can be identified. Permanent cure is to avoid allergen or desensitization.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
