I have acne prblms..I went to a skin doctor n he prescribed me a tretin cream (0.025%),Glyahakoj cream (which containes 2% of hydroquionone,kojic acid n glycolic acid ) and a AHA GLOW facewash.M using it since 2 months but there z no effective result.yaa somehow my acnes are now reduced bt still my skin is not clear from acne n spots! Another doctor prescribed me a clearoff gel n cap aczit 10 mg capsuls bt i didnt even tried!! M quite confused What to do now.Should I try the 2nd doctor s prescribed medicnes or not??I am avoidng oily spicy foods now N My Skin type z-Dry Skin.My age z 20 n Female..Plzzzz Help me...

It is important to follow up with the dermatologist to get a good result from the treatment. If gels alone do not seem to clear the pimples, you need oral medications like doxycycline, azithromycin or isotretinoin depending on the severity of the pimples. You could take the medications as mentioned above provided you follow up with your dermatologist. They need to be stopped if any side effect develops and hence monitoring is important.
