General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Main source of Vitamin D3 is sunlight, and its deficiency can be dealt with supplementary intake when the levels are very low. Along side its advisable to make sure you get exposed to sunlight adequately. Its better during the early hours of the morning till 9 am. Also, consult a dietician for more food sources of vitamin D3 and calcium.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
