Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,

You feel weak and have joint pain and dyslipidemia because you have hypothyroidism.

If you were my patient I will ask you to do a thyroid panel (TSH,fT3 the fT4) to adjust your Thyrox doses.

When your TSH test will be within the range, your symptom will disappear and you will feel better.

My advice is to take Thyrox or Levothyroxine every morning 20 min before you eat.

Do not stop taking this medication (like you have done before)because without levothyroxine you will be on Hypothyroid state and will have all the symptoms and signs you described.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Elona Xhardo, Endocrinologist
